Penutup Kamuflase Ekologis Tambang Terbengkalai

Pelajari Lebih Lanjut Details

At an abandoned mountain mine, all exposed white rock and soil cuts were completely draped with green camouflage nets. The nets, stretched tight, hid the excavation scars and acted as a dust and erosion control layer. They provided a visual façade of vegetation while real plant life recovered underneath.

Lereng tambang yang ditinggalkan ditutupi dengan jaring kamuflase ekologis untuk rehabilitasi

A rust-colored open-cut mine on a hillside needed remediation. The rocky slopes, a mix of bright limestone and ochre soil, were highly visible from afar. To address this, engineers covered every stretch of exposed earth with a thick green planting net. The net was laid flat across the terrain and securely pinned down to withstand high winds.

Once deployed, it covered the entire white rock face and loose spoil piles. Besides hiding the visual damage, the net had a practical purpose: it held sediment in place. Strong mountain winds would no longer whip dust into nearby valleys, and heavy rains would not wash soil out of the site. The net also prevented the formation of gullies and ruts.

During inspections, no parts of the mine’s orange-brown base or white rock were visible; instead, the hillside looked uniformly green. Ecological experts noted that the nets allowed rain to wet the soil below, supporting moss and grass seeds planted there. Ultimately, this camouflage net functioned as a transitional vegetative cover, meeting environmental targets for mine rehabilitation.
