200MW PV Plant Eco-Restoration
At the 200MW PV station, all exposed soil and fill areas were topped with faux grass camouflage nets. These prevented erosion and provided immediate visual cover. The nets also supported grass seeding to achieve rapid ground cover.

For the mountain PV station construction, heavy excavation created raw slopes and soil mounds. The teams covered all cut slopes and material yards with faux-grass camouflage netting. Each net piece acted like a temporary turf, hiding the orange-brown soil underneath. Net edges were tucked under gravel to secure them.
During rainy periods, these nets stopped soil from washing away by holding it in place. Beneath the net surface, seed was sown, turning the nets into support mats. Over time, real grass began to grow through the net holes. The nets’ air-permeable design prevented puddling, so seedlings could sprout normally.
After installation, the mine-like landscape took on a green appearance almost overnight. The similarity between the netting and the surrounding vegetation made the construction zone discreet from vantage points. Ecological monitors found that erosion was significantly reduced. This approach ensured that the PV plant could be built without leaving visible scars on the environment.
