The camo net was special: it emitted no odor and had a soft, rustle-free surface.

The color and texture of the net matched the tree canopy. With it deployed, the hide blended almost perfectly into the woods. Special attention was paid to eliminating reflective surfaces: camera lenses and straps were draped with anti-glare covers. The net itself was flame-retardant and breathable; during daytime temperature swings, it prevented heat from accumulating and did not fade.

Over weeks of deployment, nocturnal animals and birds moved within a few meters of the hide without alarm. Infrared cameras positioned inside captured high-quality images of creatures unaware of human observers. The conservation team was able to maintain around-the-clock monitoring thanks to this concealment.
